Sonia Braga disputa prêmio de melhor atriz com Selena Gomez

Sonia Braga está concorrendo com Selena Gomez, Lana Parrillae Monica Raymund ao prêmio de Melhor Atriz no 28º Annual Imagen Awards. A premiação, realizada desde 1985 pela The Imagen Foundation, é destinada à comunidade latina de Hollywood e reconhece os melhores da televisão.

A brasileira foi indicada por sua atuação no telefilme Meddling Mom. Já Selena concorre por seu trabalho em The Wizards Return: Alex vs. Alex (O Retorno dos Feiticeiros). Lana Parrilla foi indicada por sua performance como a vilã de Once Upon a Time e Monica porChicago Fire.

A escolha dos vencedores é feita por uma comissão de jurados, não por fãs em votação aberta. A cerimônia de premiação será no dia 16 de agosto no Beverly Hilton Hotel International Ballroom, em Los Angeles.
